Join us for a free public lecture at 4-6pm on March 1, 2012 in Room 087 (basement) of University College (15 King’s College Circle, Toronto, ON) by:
Gail Henderson, SJD Candidate, Faculty of Law, University of Toronto
Gail’s research focuses on the role of corporations in fulfilling society’s obligations to preserve the environment for future generations. In particular, her research asks whether directors’ fiduciary duty ought to include a duty to minimize the corporation’s environmental impacts.
This lecture is part of the Vital Discussions of Human Security series which is co-sponsored by University College Health Studies Programme, Canadian Pugwash Group, Science for Peace and Voice of Women for Peace.
